@article{ author = {Hesari, Ali}, title = {Human Development Index, Challenges and Its Value for Islamic Republic of Iran at 2011}, abstract ={ Improvement in human development is determined by the capacity of knowledge attainment, access to high living standards and enjoyment of healthy and long life expectancy. Education, life expectancy and gross national income per capita indices are the components of human development index. Until 2010, human development index had been arithmetic mean of education, life expectancy and domestic production per capita (PPP) indices. In 2011, human development report calculation procedure changed. In the new procedure, geometric mean of the three indices were replaced by the arithmetic mean in the old one, education index in the new procedure is composite index of mean years of schooling in population 25+ and expected years of schooling index, and GDP per capita (PPP) has been replaced by GNP per capita (PPP). In this article, the changes in the procedure of human development calculation and its components are explained and the index is calculated for the year 1990.}, Keywords = {Human development index, gross national production per capita, life expectancy, expected years of schooling, mean years of schooling.}, volume = {26}, Number = {1}, pages = {1-24}, publisher = {statistical Center of Iran}, url = {http://ijoss.srtc.ac.ir/article-1-134-en.html}, eprint = {http://ijoss.srtc.ac.ir/article-1-134-en.pdf}, journal = {Ijoss Iranian Journal of Official Statistics Studies}, issn = {2538-5798}, eissn = {2538-578x}, year = {2015} } @article{ author = {Fathi, Elham}, title = {The Qualitative and Quantitative Demographic Status Iran and Islamic Countries in 1390 AP}, abstract ={   Muslim country with history - several thousand years of cultural - religious Cultural Center of the richest civilizations in the world and has enormous natural resources, privileges and capacities of exceptional, still less developed regions world are considered. The extent of Muslim countries, include 59 countries with a population of over 29 million square kilometers, more than one billion, five hundred and ninety-two million people. In addition, 74% Muslim world's known oil reserves and 50% of global gas reserves have been and Having straits and waterways and a total of 20 percent of the world's soil and water areas of strategic importance and is a special strategy. It is believed that the knowledge and understanding of all of the data contributed significantly to the planning and policy area. This study compared the demographic characteristics of the population and the Islamic world, and then the status of Iran in the Islamic countries will show. Studies show that Iran is among the most populous countries in the region is vast and qualitative indices of demography in a relatively good position among Islamic countries. But in all statistical projects before its implementation surely it is considered suitable solution for dealing with missing data. Methods for dealing missing data are imputation and weighting that each of them has advantages and disadvantages, however, using data set which applies none of these two methods, leads bias estimation, then it causes wrong analysis. In this paper, an alternative estimator of population mean in the presence of non-response, which has been suggested [12]*, has considered which comes in the form of Walsh’s estimator [16]**. The estimator of mean obtained from the proposed technique remains better than the estimators obtained from ratio imputation or TSS, also the mean-squared error (MSE) of the resultant estimator is less than that of the estimator obtained on the basis of ratio method of imputation. *    Singh, S. Publishing and disseminating the statistical information in each of the available form can disclose unit private information. This phenomenon can make a public distrust of national statistical agencies which are the preserver of the statistical units private information. This event decreases cooperation or even noncooperation of the statistical units. On the other hand, increasing nonresponse rate or receiving inaccurate responses, can strongly decrease the quality of the statistical information. Therefore, the national statistical agencies should make a balance between dissemination statistical information and unit information disclosure risk. For making this balance, limiting information disclosure methods are used by national statistical agencies. In this paper we introduce methods for controlling disclosure of statistical unit information in tabular and micro data forms by putting emphasis on micro data. Then we will apply some of the limiting disclosure micro data methods to the 39th industrial establishment survey data with 10 and more employees for Qazvin province in 1390 (2011) which was conducted by Statistical Center of Iran. The main target markets of Iran's cement exports have been identified, as well as the measure and currency value of cement exports to them have been studied in the various years. The relative quota of Iran and the various continents from the total world production and export value of global currencies have also been surveyed. The results of this research reveal that Iran by producing 66.5 Mt of cement in 1393 in Persian calendar has achieved the first place of cement producers in the Middle East, the world's fourth largest producer of cement and the first place of the world exporters of cement. At the moment the cement of Iran is exported to 30 countries, whereas over the past 15 years Iraq with relative quota of 53.6 percent from the whole cement exports of Iran is the main target market of Iran. For the six past years (2009-2014) Iran has attained 12.2 and 72.1 percent of Asia and the world's cement production respectively as well as 53.2 and 19.1 percent of currency value of cement exports from Asia and the world respectively. During the last several years (1388-1393 in Persian calendar) both the amount and exports currency of cement products of Iran have also increased slightly which deal with the potential of the country to produce such products, therefore to achieve more benefits this capability needs more attention. At the end the current exports problems of Iran's cement have also been reviewed and to overcome them some overall strategies were offered.}, Keywords = {Cement, statistics of production, consumption and universal trade of cement, world\'s main countries in cement industry}, volume = {26}, Number = {1}, pages = {107-128}, publisher = {statistical Center of Iran}, url = {http://ijoss.srtc.ac.ir/article-1-131-en.html}, eprint = {http://ijoss.srtc.ac.ir/article-1-131-en.pdf}, journal = {Ijoss Iranian Journal of Official Statistics Studies}, issn = {2538-5798}, eissn = {2538-578x}, year = {2015} }
