A Presentation of a New Model of Exponentiated Marshall-Olkin Generalized Exponential Distribution and It's Application

In this paper, the features and applications of a new three-parameter distribution called the Exponentiated Marshall- Olkin Generalized Exponential Distribution are presented, which has many applications in meteorology, longevity issues, agricultural product price modeling, and reliability. This distribution has an increasing and decreasing hazard rate function according to its parameter values. In this paper, first, some statistical and mathematical characteristics of this distribution, including moments, maximum likelihood estimation of the parameters will be expressed and a simulation study will be presented in this field. Finally, applications of the new distribution are presented to show the flexibility of the distribution. The results also confirm the suitability of this model for the considered real data set.
