In many surveys, missing data is inevitable. But in all statistical projects before its implementation surely it is considered suitable solution for dealing with missing data. Methods for dealing missing data are imputation and weighting that each of them has advantages and disadvantages, however, using data set which applies none of these two methods, leads bias estimation, then it causes wrong analysis. In this paper, an alternative estimator of population mean in the presence of non-response, which has been suggested [12]^*, has considered which comes in the form of Walsh’s estimator [16]^**. The estimator of mean obtained from the proposed technique remains better than the estimators obtained from ratio imputation or TSS, also the mean-squared error (MSE) of the resultant estimator is less than that of the estimator obtained on the basis of ratio method of imputation.
