Supplying water for plants is a crucial factor in agricultural debates and related sciences. The importance of calculating and predicting wind speed in agricultural science lies in the fact that wind speed is one of the most important factors in calculating transpiration and determining the amount of water plants require. Another reason for the importance of studying winds is their role in employment. Wind turbines are among the most energy-intensive industries. For this purpose, the maximum wind speed data collected daily from 2009 to 2016 at the Meteorological Center of Bam was measured. The results showed that the Chi-Square test statistics in step 12 is, 7.7 and its corresponding P-value= 0.359 which indicates the suitability of the ARMA(1,3) model for wind speed data. Also, it is observed that the wind velocity of Bam during the proposed years follows a systematic process that increases the importance of this issue.
